hey if you just ask farmers to camp, or ask people which farmers you can ask to
camp on their land, you will have no problem!! i was in a little town called
glenmallue and paddy, the bartender, b&b owner and farmer let me camp on his
land. i was tired and didnät want to travel the next day so i asked him if i
could work for him in exchange for letting me stay. he put me to work herding
sheep and working in the bar for a day! it was one of the highlights of my trip
and i highly recommend the town..it is in wicklow county very close to
glendaloch. have a great time!

Тыт речь идёт не о двухнедельных походах, а о походах которые длятся месяцами а иногда годами. И не исключено, что в какои то момент останавливаются на "подзаработать" на несколько недель. В данном случае это одним выстрелом - двух зайцев: и отдохнуть, и заработать денег! :)
